Hi. I was trying to code a bgt networking aplication using a different network wrapper in bgt by amir ramecani(visual studio here), because it's more handy then the normal bgt networking. But there is one strange but really anoying and traffic eating problem. In my main loop, i call the n.request(); methot. But that don't seams to work properly, cause if i don't keep sending packets to the srv it just keeps geting the same packet over and over again even if i send nothing at all. What can i do against that? Greatings and thanks, simter.

Hi Simter,

Can you skype chat me? I can try to help you, although I must admit I don't know much about Amir's network wrapper. It may be a bug there.

I've been going by Bryn, which is now reflected in my profile. Please do your best to respect this :) Mess ups are totally OK though, I don't mind and totally understand!

I really hate people that tell others what programming languages they should or shouldn't use. If it works, it works.

Back on topic:
The wrapper essentially just wraps the default network object anyway, so the wrapper is pointless

Your one to talk, @6. Mr. Oh bgt sucks, fuck bgt, i'm glad i switched to https, because it doesn't work with bgt.

I never actually said "BGT Sucks." I did say that it is limited, but never did I say don't use it.

As much as I hate defending @masonian I need to agree with him here.
He said (just like me) that bgt is limited and are no longer updated (which is not up for debate) never once, has he (or myself for that matter) unless specifically beeing asked, said, that people should switch to x or y.

Moderation:
Ty. I am throwing up a caution flag. Your comment had nothing to do with the topic and had everything to do with trying to stir up drama. This topic is about the discussion of a network wrapper, not your views on a language or a particular programmer's opinions.

Much less active on this forum than in the past.
