Hi community,
I'm having an issue with Tarzan Jr. When I run the game, I get:

I am the original author of Tarzan Junior. It was a project I made when I was 14, so about 15 years ago. Good times!

The game is a so called HTML application. This was a technology back in the day which enabled web developers to make their HTML and JavaScript look and feel like a regular desktop application. To run it, you need a host program which, at least on older versions of Windows, used to be called mshta.exe. I don't have any direct steps for you to install the HTML application host, but that will at least give you a lead on how to Google further.

I think it's still present on Windows today, you should be able to open the HTA file and play it, though it renders as a web page and you'll need to turn on forms mode in JAWS or focus mode in NVDA to interact with it. I searched for mshta.exe and found it in my System32 and SysWOW64 directories.

Small clarification. Tarzan Junior and the other older games from the PB-games eara are written in JavaScript, not Java. The name can be misleading, but JavaScript has no connection with Java whatsoever. It is a completely different beast. So installing Java won't help in any way, unfortunately.
