Hi @Samtasitc.
I don't hope you personally feel offended by this post, because this is not my point. Also please note that I don't speak as a moderator, but just as a normal user of the forum.
I've just received a refund for the MobShift app for IOS, and I wanna tell you why. I wanna bring your attention to something quite odd you did, properly without noticing because you are new here on the forum. My point is not to spread bad rumours about you as a person or a developer. I understand, from your previous comments in this topic, that you have developers who works for you. So for this reason, there might be a number of things, which you are even not aware about regarding to accessibility and regarding to development.
On the very first day you created this topic, I bought the app for IOS, and was excited to give the game a try. Why IOS? I saw it mentioned in the first post, and saw on your website, that it already was released, so I thought it was accessible to blind people. Excuse me if I misunderstood anything in post.
As you might remember, I quickly noticed that the IOS app is completely inaccessible for blind gamers. It does not work at all with Voiceover, which is the build in screenreader on Apples products, which means we can't get the icons read out loud. I'm sorry for any messages you might have found harsh which I wrote at that time. I thought, until you wrote in a previous comment, that you have developed the app and game for the other platforms. But I now see that things are different, and therefore there might be a number of things which you even don't know anything about. If that's the case, then feel free to ask.
Later on, an update to the MobShift app got released for IOS. Then, you announced here in this topic this update as a totally new release, like if the app hasn't been available before. You knew that the app was, and still is completely inaccessible to blind gamers out from my comments. Therefore, I don't get the point of this announcement of the new app.
You haven't responded yet regarding the accessibility on the IOS app, if it will become accessible in the future or not. Because of this, it sounds like the focus is on the pc and Mac versions when it comes to accessibility, or maybe because the game is self voiced on those platforms that the game is accessible to blind people.
Therefore I have the following questions:
1. On which platforms are you interested to make your games accessible to blind gamers?
2. Do you need any information to know more about accessibility in generel?
I wish you the best of luck on your future development.
Best regards SLJ.
Feel free to contact me privately if you have something in mind. If you do so, then please send me a mail instead of using the private message on the forum, since I don't check those very often.
