Hi there. So I've been working for a while on this flexible map engine which I wanted to use for the python version of a game I was working on.
I decided to release it on github because probably people could have benefit from it. This map parses it's data in json format, which can make it probably more verbose if you want to code anything with raw data, that's why functions have been added to make your life easy.
If you'd like to give a look to it feel free to go on the link below
mapJSON repository
I hope it can help in some way.

Very, very interesting.

O, they ruled the solar system near ten thousand years before, in their single starcrossed scout ships, mining asteroids, spinning lore.
Then one true courageous miner spied a spaceship from the stars. Boarded he that alien liner out beyond the orb of Mars.

Thumbs up

Originally the playstep was in it, but I removed it for further flexibility.

I've improved the engine a bit.
Now, you're able to get tile objects their selves instead of only strings which would tell you the tile type.
You can even delete tiles and zones if you wish
If you're interested feel free to look the documentation here
If you find something wrong, do not esitate to contribute.
