Maybe you should visit Hokkaido. I assume you're a steel type, so oppressive heat will be super effective against you. Kanto region (includes Tokyo) is very hot, so you probably don't wanna be there. I'm living near Tokyo though. lol!
Miso ramen (noodles) in Hokkaido are very good. I've visited there only once though.

I can't stand the heat. I've always liked Japanese culture, well, what we're exposed to anyway. I think I would do well there for a while, being courteous and respectful, until someone pissed me off, then it would be on, and then they'd want to run me out, charging me down with red hot pokers.
