Hi there. So I've been working for a while on this flexible map engine which I wanted to use for the python version of a game I was working on.
I decided to release it on github because probably people could have benefit from it. This map parses it's data in json format, which can make it probably more verbose if you want to code anything with raw data, that's why functions have been added to make your life easy.

it is actually quite easy to also add a playstep function to this also

I've improved the engine a bit.
Now, you're able to get tile objects their selves instead of only strings which would tell you the tile type.
You can even delete tiles and zones if you wish
