Yes as of this post its only been 2781 minutes since 2019 started, and we've already got a new game announced.

Jsenter, developer of Friends of the prince, the world's cutest little dystopia, and Nano Empire where you get to create cute littel worlds of your own, is now going to get medieval on everyone.

A few minutes of glory is going to be a text based, real time strategy game for the Iphone. You will need to manage resources such as food, wood, stone and gold and 15 different military units ranging from swordsman and horse archers to monks, all of which have their own strength and weaknesses in short, brutal matches against the computer.

Intended for quick and violent play, and featuring an Ai so tough that even the game's creator can't defeat it on the hardest level, this should be an absolute treat to anyone whose tired of all those online strategy games where victory comes down to who has paid the most  or joined the biggest guild, and since matches are over in minutes, no need to wait weeks to retry your strategy.

A few minutes of glory is now available for preorder on the Ios ap store, at the not so glorious price of just two dollars (it will be three dollars when released).

Furthermore however, Jsenter is looking out for Beta testers, especially to make sure that like both of his previous titles, the game is fully accessible with Voiceover.

If this is a sign of the way 2019 is going, it should be a happy new year indeed.

With our dreaming and singing, Ceaseless and sorrowless we! The glory about us clinging Of the glorious futures we see,
Our souls with high music ringing; O men! It must ever be
That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)
