Hi.
I heard that .hta files are htm files, but they open in the microsoft html application host which is pretty much like a minni IE. Me being me, I decided to test this by taking 3DSnake, converting 3dsnake.hta into an htm, and running it in internet explorer, and it worked. As a second experiment I tried running this file in Google Chrome, and it did not work. That being said, what is it about these older games that makes it impossible to run them in anything but IE? I know it's because they're old games, but what's the technical part of it? Also, would I even understand the explanation if I have to ask this question in the first place. LOL seriously though, I am interested to know the reason even if I can't understand.

If anyone wants to add me on Skype, it's garrett.brown2014.

Thumbs up +2
