I will keep you all posted on how things are going.   The next title update should be out within the next week or so, if they remain consistant with the title updates.  We'll see what comes out then.

How do you update it?  This actually made me think of something.  How do you actually sign in to EA?  One of the things that OCR cannot seem to read is the choice to sign in.  At the bottom of the screen, it says "sign into EA sports for NFL news," or something like that, but I can't find a way to actually sign in.

I tried again to sign into my EA account from the game,  but I literally don't see a way to do it.  I even checked under the "messenger" option, but  saw nothing.  I wouldn't mind playing an online match, and it might make it easier to get an update if I'm logged in.

You have to do it when you first run the game for the first time.  I'll look in to it for you.

There has to be a way to log in if you couldn't, or didn't, when you first ran the thing.  I'm not going to uninstall and reinstall to do it, though.

Hello to all,
I'm just wanting to let you know, that writing playbooks is not going to work. The reason is EA has decided that they will update the playbooks  throughout the release cycle of the game, making static playbooks like the one we were working on impossible. For more information, please see the latest title update changes. https://www.ea.com/games/madden-nfl/mad … e-november
Also, please note the lack of accessibility improvements, yet each update says that the updates are based on community feedback. For all of you who play,  please reach out to Karren, and blow up the forums with posts. We need to be heard, and with each passing update, I feel we are being ignored.
The link to the content changes in the latest title update is below:
https://www.ea.com/games/madden-nfl/mad … e-november
Don't worry menus are still being worked on, and I think you all will be thrilled with what we have accomplished.

I sincerely hope that EA isn't one of those companies that wants to make the token effort to dip their toe into accessibility, then pat themselves on the back.  I hope the desire for accessibility is a serious one.  The lack of response from them is rather discouraging, I must admit.

Do anyone know how I can set up a second controller to have the control assist feature? Everytime I try to set it up I can't get it to work.

Ok, so I was forced to reinstall Windows, which means that I will have a brand new install of Madden.  Now, how do I actually log into my account this time?  I saw no way to do this before.  Anyone know how to do it without sight?

Just out of curiosity, are there any other EA titles that have accessibility features?

UFC 3 apparently, but personally I suck incredibly at that and wouldn't recommend. That's honestly just my opinion though, and it could be that I'm just trash at the game.

Silly Gohan, animals don't eat people. People eat animals.

, Hello to all!  I do apologize for my long inactivity on this forum, but I have been busy with things that well, most of you probably would not believe.  Also, I have been dealing with a lot  of things involving our TV service.  However, I did not begin to write this post so that I could ramble on about my life!
My dear madden Players, I am happy to finally announce that the menu guide is almost done! We should have it finished by tomorrow at some point and at that time, once everything is organized,   I will zip eeverything up and share it as a public one drive link.  Let me give you a rundown of what the guide will contain.

Most of if not all the game menus.
easy navigation with headings and lists.
a table containing the controls for the game
Pages containing the sets of options for franchise mode, all game options, and  in game options
Level one headings represent main menus or tabs
lower level headings represent menus inside menus, and numbered items  represent menus that wrap unless theyare a  menu within a menu
help in navigating will be provided through forum support or   my email address!

There are things that are not included,  just because the way the game has them structured. Working with karren on those things  but hopefully this will help in a huge way!
Thank you all for your pacients, and Happy Gaming!

Hello to all!
A quick update on the final mode of the game that we are going to do. Mut is pretty darn large, but we've completed almost all the chalanges that we can get to. We are also going to try and find a way for you to set your player lineup, and also navigate the store, should that be something you want. We will do our best to get it done as soon as possible.
I'll keep you posted!

Hi.
Has there been any accessibility improvements to the game since the first release? I haven't bought the game yet, since I fear I'll find it very difficult to get used to the game, just like I feel with Matten 18. I gave Madden 18 a try, but found the menus and the gameplay very challenging and difficult to get used to.
Karen is doing an amazing job, but I haven't seen any messages from her here on the forum for very long time. I have the feeling the accessibility is going down the hill again, but I hope I'm wrong.
I just fear I won't have much success with Madden 19 just like Madden 18, if there hasn't been made any accessibility improvements since Madden 19 got released.

Best regards SLJ.
If you like the post, then please give it a thumps up.
Feel free to contact me privately if you have something in mind. If you do so, then please send me a mail instead of using the private message on the forum, since I don't check those very often.
Happy gaming... :D

Addolis,
Looking forward to the guide.  Though I must admit that I am disappointed that playbooks couldn't be completed.  There has to be some way to do the playbooks.  That's sort of important, so that we know which way to run the ball, and which routes are available in pass plays.  Here's to hoping that you get the menus done soon.  Also, I really hope that you can show us how to modify our roster if we want to.  As for what SLJ said, I, too, hope that accessibility hasn't been abandoned, but the lack of interaction of Karen on this or the EA accessibility thread is concerning to me.

Let me start out with the bad news about playbooks. The problem with the playbooks  is that before the latest title update, playbooks were only updated   for every new game release, or if a coach was fired. Now, the playbooks will be updated continually throughout  the game cycle. While we could have created team playbooks  yearly, the fact that they will be changing it  during the year would make it very hard for us to update them.  As far as the lack of responce of the forums, I have spoken with Karren about this, and she is very upset about this as well. Hopefully she will have this resolved  at the latest in January.  Now for the good news, the menus have been finished! This is how you will opperate the menus
1. Download the file from the one drive link provided.
2. Extract the directory to anywhere you want. The file is Called Madden.exe.   Once you open the folder, there are a list of HTML files linked to each other.  The main.html explanes how the menus are to be navigated,  and although it may seem overwelming,  I am here  if you guys have any questions about how to navigate them. It has taken nearly 4 months of work between my self and Coziestkolala306 to get this done. Here is what is covered in the menu system.
Exhibition mode, along with all the options you can set before starting a game:
The main options area under customize:
Franchise mode including the buttons for starting a franchise and a seperate page for the franchise screen wich is called fscreen.html, Ultimate team, with some chalanges that will expire not being covered unless asked for:
Skills trainer has all skills listed, as well as whether or not a drill and a ttutorial and drill are provided,  and thereare also seperate pages for  the league options wich are part of franchise mode, and the fscreen.html contains   all the tabs of franchise mode. Ultimate team is also covered in the file called MUT.html
This has been a long time coming, and I apologize for the long delay in the first release. Before I leave you all, I know that there will be issues in this first release. I wanted to get something out to you guys tonight, but one big thing that will come up, and that we have already found is how to hide parts of the guide that you don't need at a particular time. I do have a solution in the works, but that may be a while in coming, and when it is ready, I will repost the link to download.  Please also understand that this is not ment to replace an in-game solution provided by EA.  EA must, make the game have spoken menus, as well as reading the presnap menus and route information, as well as coverage information on defense.  This guide is ment to assist in navigating  the game menus while you have access to a computer or a mobile device.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to send me messages or reach out on the forums.
A final word of note: Many hours have been invested in to the development  of this guide.  We still want to do the skills trainer videos, but right now neither my self or coziestkoala306 have gaming headsets.  We are working to resolve this issue, and once that is done, more of the skills trainer videos will follow.  Also, if you guys like what you see, and want to see it improved, or want to see more games done, please consider  a small donation. EA has not asked us to do this, we wanted to do this for all of you.  However,  with just two of us working, any help in future games would be greatly  appreciated, whether its in a financial way, or in coding the guides, or even helping out with documentation.  All that being said, please have a look through all this, and leave me feedback.
Enjoy the guide, and hopefully you guys can do alot more!

Here is a question that I have about a decision you have to make after you simulated the draft. You get two options that you have to choose from they are jump ahead and sim ten years.
I was wondering what is the sim ten years option? I pick the jump ahead option which put me in the next season.

Hi @Addolis.
Wow... Thanks for all you guys are doing. This guide is amazing!
I might pick up the game and give Madden a try again because of this awesome guide. But I still find it quite overwhelming just to learn the basics... I will practise some more with Madden 18 which I bought long time ago before purchasing Madden 19. any reasons for I should buy Madden 19 before I have got used to Madden 18?
I have a quite important question for your guide which i hope you have considered when putting that much work into the guide:
Do you expect this guide can be used in future games, and maybe in previous games as well, of course accept for the new features in Madden 19? I'm asking because it would be a shame to start all this from scratch when Madden 20 comes. Then, you can call this a general guide, or maybe split it up so you have all the basic menus as a general guide, and the special things for each games, Madden 18, 19, and future games in sub guides. I hope my question makes sense.
Then, you might consider just compress the guide in a standard zip file instead a windows .exe file. That would make people who aren't using Windows be able to extract the guide as well. Maybe consider putting this awesome guide on a website as well.
It would also be great to have important links in the guide such as the EA's version of the guide, contact information and other important stuff.
Again, thanks for all you are doing. it makes me so happy even when I don't currently need it cause I still don't get the basics of the game. But it still makes me so happy to see such great serious work from you guys.

Best regards SLJ.

Hello, The sim 10 years probably takes you 10 years in to your franchise. Also SLJ, you asked if the guide would work in Madden 18. While I am sure that parts of the guide would work in 18, the guide was made for 19. I would encourage you t purchase Madden 19 so that the guide and game are both accurate.
We did forget a couple of things in ultimate team, that we will work to resolve. Ahem, Sets, and the player action menu come to mind.
Excellent feedback on the guide SLJ.
Also, this guide is a framework in particular for future madden releases. However, if there are major menu changes in future  releases they will be added. If there is not, then I will add a what's new page to the guide. I hope this helps, and keep the questions coming!

How do you check the year that you are in?

During the games you play  you should be told what year you are in in franchise mode. Also, if you can, use OCR to  check the things to do area. It should also tell you.
