I will be leaving these forums...for the next hour or two.  As much as I like to browse things on here, other callings on the internet require me to tab away from this window, and not respond to anything.  This is good-bye until I lose interest on whatever I was reading on reddit or Tvtropes, and decide to tab back to the screen... maybe after a nap and some coffee as well, oh and work that i need to finish....

...Okay, I will see if I can change the title of this topic when the joke gets stale (honestly the topic line is already stale after the first version).  However, I did have a related question for a reason that involves going on hiatus from a few dozen things.  I'm actually going to graduate out of my master's program in a month, and I've been wondering on some winter-oriented vacation spots that are good for this time of year as a mini-celebration.  Has anyone ever done any winter getaways and mind sharing some of their experiences at these places?  I actually don't have a preference of warm/cold areas, as some snowy resorts are fun for their own reasons.  Sort of planning to go with a few family members too so that needs to also be considered, but I'd like to think many tourist options have family programs and packages.

     Thanks in advance.

Travel agent Liam here.

I guess it depends a lot on what you enjoy doing. I can suggest about 50 hundred places, but know what you and your family enjoys would be a good start. I'm assuming USA?

Yup, U.S resident here, but not sure if we have the budget for an out of country trip just yet.  As well, if I did have to go out of country, I cannot fly as my remaining eye will quite literally explode due to change in pressure (However, this looks like a non-issue afterwards, heh).  So those options would be by boat, and at that point that can possibly be it's own vacation option.  I might lean more towards a more warmer environment for the trip, but this is mainly due to lacking any experiences for more winter oriented vacation spots.  Outside of maybe walking around places for exploring, I'm not sure if as many activities are openned to those that cannot see well  (prepares skiing gear).  And if I was going to do some site seeing, it's better done not suffocating in winter clothing I guess.

Have you ever been to disney world? I had a freakin blast, and I'm 157 percent blind.

I've been to Disney World with my family and had an utter blast, as a blind adult. There's so much audio and so much stuff going on there, and at Universal as well. It actually gave me a bit more respect for the theme park industry itself.

....

...Right, I completely forgot about the existence of Disney World.  In all truthfulness, I actually did go there once, but it was a part of some conference we attended, and I really didn't get to explore the park at all (way too many required meetings to go to by our group).   I should really go back there and actually explore the entire thing rather than being confined to one hotel for other purposes....

but I mean, let's keep things going.  I'm still open to other options for visiting.  But at least Disney World is a driveable option for me.

Also, wonder if slow traffic is due to people thinking this is another good-bye topic?  I think I should change the title soonish.

Disney world is like the most fun an adult can have without taking their pants off.
