No, this is not a suggestion for how to get your arm bitten off and be set on fire, this is another one of those mixed up mangled titles we often have in newsland when we've got several disparate updates to report.
Dragon village is Rocky's most ambitious game yet. Take control of a group of peasants in a medieval fantasy village and try and help them survive. Plant crops, keep a weather eye open for floods, fend off those nasty outlaws and wolves and yes eventually contend with several types of dragon.
Part strategy, part rpg, all fun!
The game's also free, though if you wish donations are accepted too.
Next up, some updates from an old favourite. Ever since first releasing BG cribbage in 2002, Ian Humphries has been continuing on cranking out the games, now expanding the BG series to over 30 entries. The latest of these (released just this month is BG boxes, a strategical game of lines, dots and points in which the winner is the one who can draw most boxes.
Also, note Spoonbill's two new releases from July, BG Alchemy, a game in which alchemical runes must be matched up in order to turn lead into gold, and BG Hangman, the classic neck breaking word puzzle.
Lastly, we have a bit of android love, ---- well not in the blade runner, electric sheep sense, but rather in the sense that those using Android can now grab Feer, the recently released avoidotastic zombie audio run that's taking the Ios world by storm on the Google play store and play it on their android phones.
Find out more in This topic and don't forget whichever platform your playing on to give the game a rating in the ap store, since it really helps the developers make the game more visible, which likely means more updates and more zombies in the future. Okay, that doesn't sound like a good thing but believe in this instance it is!
Lastly, if Dragon village doesn't satisfy your lust for power, remember Warsim the exceptional randomly generating kingdom management text game by Wastelander is always receiving updates.
In particular, the last update caused a major change to the game's black market, with far more things to do with your criminal empire should your forces take control, from organising your own festival to fully upgrading the market should the garrison surrender to you, as well as having more mercs to higher.
Check out This massive topic for all your warsim commenting needs, in particular post 1207 for the truly staggering changelog.
just remember all of this is only available in the full version of the game, which costs only five dollars on Itch.io.
Happy strategising, or running from zombies, or stopping peasants from starving, or hanging people for not spelling words correctly.
Hmmm, should I really be using the word "happy" in that sentence?
