@sorressean
You think like me! I fully agree. I already gave this suggestion in a topic that I created in the blastbay forum, but it seems that no one else visits that space
and the good stuff that was there is lost too.
This is really frustrating. I as a new user, got the bgt almost dying and can not find a centralized place where I can find codes, libraries and the like to use.
That's why I decided to participate in this forum.
Hopefully the developers can think it over with great affection.
Here is the topic where I gave this suggestion:

Hello sam, my Email address is

I'd be willing to create a github repository to keep BGT includes and the like,, of course upon request from the code author. Hopefully by using github, we won't have to worry about broken DB links, deleted files, and no longer existent servers.
And I'd be happy to host it too.

Yes, I'm a php programmer and I find a lot of useful stuff there. Github is the inspiration for creating interesting projects and, at least in other programming languages, has a very active community. I think bgt has great potential for that as well.

lol is the topic even valid anymore? i mean, look at the date of the furst post, rooooooflflflflfl 2016?
That, and well, people who just put their emails out on public forums, well... yeah.
We haven't heard from Sam about this folder since a while and it doesn't look like it is working any more. I think the people who are in that folder might know about it.
Well the folder is still there. but no one is active in it
It only takes one jackass to propagate a virus through a shared folder like that, they're not all they're cracked up to be. Shared folders with people you know, sure, but public invitation style ones, I mean, there's a potential for trouble there, and I've had it happen to me. Maybe a better idea for something if you want to share code and stuff is a github repo where the creator and a select team of moderators will accept PR's from people.
44 has a point. I remember being in the DM developers shared folder a few years back and somehow a virus propagated through there and renamed all the executables to their names.exe.ve or something. So you had things like snow.exe.ve, dmnb.exe.ve, etc., or something like that. It wasn't even a harmless virus, just an annoyance.
I have never used github before, but if you want, I could try and start something up for you guys.
Git isn't a toy, it should be done by someone with experience using it so that people don't get perms they shouldn't have like merge and so forth and be able to completely bork the repo.
I'd be happy to do the same; I have a very active (but private) github repository up and going right now that's active on a daily (if not hourly/minutely) basis.
okay
