I have no probs with micro purchases, like has been said they are a thing of life in most games now, it's more the attitude of the dev when asked about getting the game translated

I have no probs with micro purchases, like has been said they are a thing of life in most games now, it's more the attitude of the dev when asked about getting the game translated
Hi again guys!
I also have no problem about that aswell.
But I will starting to play this game if they going to translate it.
Otherwise I will stay far from this game for a while.
Best!
Bee!
@25 Yes, you can play it with QTranslate, Locale Emulator not required. The game is atleast Unicode compatible
For those hopefuls, read the post that Nuno posted above. The developer has no intentions to translate the game... so don't keep your hopes up.
OK,
good news. I have talked with the dev once more, and he allowed for a translation, but he said iOS port is his main priority. He explained his previous behaviour, saying that translating this would require me to mess in his source code, which he didn't like.
That doesn't excuse the language he used when he said no... and profit and messing around with the source code are two very different things. But I'm glad he seems like he's willing to reverse attitude, for now.
Sorry for the double post. I just tried downloading the game, but don't get anything that makes sense when I open it... I also have the chinese simpified language pack installed. Is there anything I'm missing here?
Wait, do you have a problem installing or playing?
I guess installing? The text doesn't read correctly as Chinese when I open the installer.
Ah, installer is not unicode. Select the first radio button, press alt N, type the path where the game should be installed, press alt N twice and alt I
Its only the installer, the game itself is Unicode, the text you copy I mean. Sapi will still use this weird standard.
Still not having any luck... I get two errors after clkcing install and then it closes. And without things read properly, I can't figure out what step I'm missing. I get a yes or no prompt at some point during the setup as well.
You must change the path the installer is installing the game to.
Change it to for example
c:\LingsyuBrigade or something like that
I see. Well, it's working now, I just have to find a way for sapi to read the text without having to copy thins to the clipbord. Or, at least, to get nvda to grab the text. Now that I have the game instaled, running the game just hangs at a screen with the title. Nothing happens, and no key presses or anything has any affect.
You must wait for a quite a while, becuase the game needs to download additional resources from the server, you can chckeck the progress with the right arrow
My patience needs work, apparently. lol But now the problem is with correct speech output... if tts from windows doesn't process unicode, what should I do to get Chinese being read properly?
That's something I didn't figure out yet . I will ask the developer about it tomorrow.
Now, you can press ctrl C to copy the text from clipboard, you can download the clipreader tool from
www.nuno-srv.pl/guides/chinese.html
I suppose you don't need any translation to play, so just grab say tools and clipreader
Ah, you can use Locale Emulator, but this program hates me these days, I hope it hates only me
Seems like a lot of work just to get this game working... wish they'd built in native support for NVDA, like the Japanese games. Downloading all the resources, but for some reason it stops at 99% and nothing works except clicking sounds when I press enter or space.
Hmm, I didn't have this problem. Did you accept the UAC prompt?
And building the NVDA support won't be easy, as the game is made in Unity 3D
Well, the game works now. But the sapi problem is still a thing... and I really don't want to copy every line of text to the clipboard for clipreader to read it. Locale Emulator does seem t work with this game, but it gives an error if you try and run the game through LE. A chinese error message pops up saying that an exe failed to start, something to do with the sapi interface.
Ah I see. Try launching this as an admin, or something like that
That's good news that he is allowing a translation, and might be nice to have aanother palyable game on IOS.
Why would launching the game as an admin make a difference? In any case, I set locale emulator to laucn it as admin... and it still doesn't work. sigh.
