Got new version, didn't build deck this time as thought I'd see if it worked first as it takes a while to build 2 decks, started duel, computer went first, they put a monster face down, my turn started, looked at cards, went to check ATK of a monster, and got runtime error
zk: witch monster did you try to check the attack power of?
also a few monsters do cause errors like machine king and blast something. can't remember what exactly it is, but I'll check again and report back. think its an error with the effects of these cards.
also some cards cause errors like trap cards if you try to flip them face up or activate effedcts and things.
hay everyone, I have uploaded a new version of the yugioh duel simulator. It can be downloaded at https://www.sendspace.com/file/qu0vb5. New in this version. I have added keys to check a monster's attack, defence, and level. I have added a key to check how many cards have been added to the main deck and fusion deck. I have also fixed a bug in the player's hand where on the first turn the player would have only 6 cards, but the game thought they had 7. I have also fixed a bug in the monster reborn card, and I hope that is all the bugs with that card lol. If I forgot to remove some of my debugging code, I'm sorry about that, and I will remember to remove it for the next update. As alwayse I look forward to hearing from you guys about any problems with any cards, or any suggestions as to how the dueling system can be inproved. Happy dueling.

Hi, thanks for the update, I've noticed a bug, when trying to summon a monster it doesn't read out the options for what mode you want to summon it in.
sorry for double post, I built a deck for me and the computer, started a duel, took my turn, and then computer took their turn, they attacked my card and then got a run time error and the game crashed

ZK: when you play a monster card the game askes if you want to summon the monster faceup yes or no. To summon a monster in attack mode select yes, and for defence mode select no. As for your second post, I need to know what monsters you and the computer summoned. Thanks for letting me know about this, I thought I had covered all attack phase problems.
when i summoned the monster it didn't read out the options, there was a menu there as i couldn't read anytihng on the screen, but i wasn't reading out the 2 optoins.
I think the monsters were on my side gemini elf in attack mode and computer summoned mechanical chaser in attack mode and attacked
sorry for double posting, i did notice that when i run the game using NVDA, it does to work a bit better then with sapi, as it did read out the optoins, but had an issue when tried to use a trap i had set facedown, i couldn't activate it during my turn.
ok, another post from me lol, NVDA does seem to work better with the game, but i get random runtime errors at differnt points during the game, also still cannot use thunder dragon's effect, and when i tried to summon summoned skull using vorse raider as a tribute it wouldn't let me, as in when i pressed enter on summed skull in my hand nothing happend.
Thanks ZK, I'll take a look at the monsters you mentioned. I have only tested the game with NVDA and JAWS, so I don't know if it will work for anything else. I need to know if you were able to set vorse raider to "tribute" status. To tribute a monster move to it in the monster field and press t. The game should tell you the monster is ready to be sacrificed, and you can check this by pressing s to hear the monster's status. I still don't know what is going on with thunder dragon's ability, but I will look into that. For any runtime errors, keep track of what is happening, and let me knw so I can fix them.
Hi ZK. I just tested summoning gemini elf and having the computer summoning mechanicalchaser, and I got no error when the computer attacked. Whas there any facedown cards on either side? OH btw, you can not activate a trap card you set on your turn.
ok, i'll keep a note of any runtime erroers i get. and no there were no face down cards on the field at the time. . and yes i know that you can't activate traps on the turn you place them, this was at least 2 turns after i placed it. i suggest the next time you do an update or have some time to do it, is you do a text file with the list of keys that you can use during the duels.

hay everyone. Sorry I've been away from the forum for so long. I unfortunitly have no new updates yet, but I am hoping I will be able to upload something in may. I have not abandend yu-gi-oh, but it coud be a little longer before I have anything new.
