Hi,
@Frahad: I am not willing to learn an entirely new screenreader just for one game.
It will be fine if the dev implements sapi.
Wich update do you mean? An update was released yesterday but he informed about it here in the forum.
Got the game and the demos. Thanks for sharing! I will have a look at it when I get the chance, probably this weekend.
@Juliantheaudiogamer
You don't have to learn everything about NVDA to play the game. I too am a JAWS user but I also have NVDA installed because it's well known that JAWS and many games don't get along. When I encounter one of these games, or am instructed to do so, I switch to NVDA to play the game, then switch back to JAWS when I'm done. I hardly had to learn anything new at all, just a couple of NVDA specific keystrokes to access its settings and to exit.
I like this game. it is like star trek bridge commander.
Star Trek Bridge Commander? I played that game back before I lost my vision. Like Star Trek Unity it was a great game!
It would be great if audio only versions of games like those could be made. I'd definitely buy them.
hi.
Jaws support was inplemented and , music was removed from combat.
There is going to an big update that redoes the combat system to include a lot more action in it.
You can get this update at:

Thanks for all the suggestions!
Oh and 1 thing.
at dark
I'll take a look at manual pilot and see what's wrong.
So I recommend you download this update 5 minutes after this post.
Have a nice day!
if the combat system will be something like on interseptor that will be cool
but maybe that's hard to code though, heheh.
I played star trek bridge commander without vision with the keyboard. I learned the menues.
I'll just bet fighting other ships was a challenge! Especially that last battle with several Romulan vessels.
The link in lav Andric's last message got split in two with the second line being dropped from the URL so it doesn't work. Here it is again, working.

hello
I think the jump music have to change, because this music horer music something, taking long time.
the game is very nice game!
keep updating!
Hmmm, thanks for the fixes and continuing work on the game.
On the plus side I have now found what is wrong with manual navigation. if you hit enter on any square that isn't a planet you are told "stop the ship first" even if your speed is at zero, since I did find earth.
On the down side, the v menu for space still isn't working and I am not sure how to find asteroids or other things out there since there doesn't seem to be a scanning function and if your speed is anything over zero you don't seem to be able to interact with anything at all in space, or at least not with the only two things I've found in space namely earth and lc station.
Sorry if I am missing something and being incredibly thick please let me know, since I really would like to get into the actual exploring, it's just that currently I've been all over the map and not found anything to explore .
Also there seems to be a bug with the parachute stand on earth. I tried it out, and was told it was going to the correct altitude, but the game just hung at that point and nothing seemed to happen.
I do have a parachute so I'm not really sure on this one.
Sorry for me playing the complainer in this topic I just don't seem to be having much luck with this game .
Hmm, I don't understand how the parachute stand on earth is working as well. Maybe we do something wrong here?
Hi.
The auto updater is working.
The link is changed.

Enjoy!
Hi! Parrachute works as follows: When you're at the highest altitude press p, then make some steps in either direction and you will fall down. If your Parrachute is open, everything is okay, if not, you will die. I am not sure if you can find Asteroids manually, but try first to go with the fusion jump to unclaimed sectors. Then you can find *one* asteroid. But to find it you must first jump to uncharted or unclaimed sectors.
Best regards
Rico
@dark and others
it only takes ages. take some beer, turn on your tv, and when you are at the right altitude you will heer a windy like sound.
hello,
I have a problem.
when an update release, the new update remove our privious progress.
is there any solution for it?
in privious update, I have bought a factory, & also I have made above 100thousand credits.
in all new updates we loos our total progress, I think its not fun.
@Lav,
thank you!
here is a little problem, when i start the game, it says update availble your version is 2.3 & update is 2.4 so when I press on yes button, after some time a message appear update complete, extract the space explorer.zip but when I extract the zip file, its shows older version 2.3
please check it.
& the game is going very good & nice!
keep updating!
Don't worry, it's just me forgetting to update the string that contains the version.
so I've looked at the demo's the text one anyway what exactly can you do in this game? is there only 1 map or is each star system a map or what?
is it me, or do all the area have the same things. a store and a stand and that's it.
For future Versions, different Areas on different planets would be great. For example Casinos with mini games to Play in them, bars etc. Another Suggestion is space stations you can explore.
