that's exactly what I was trying to tell mike, vb6 is

better for game making, since stricktly speaking, no trooly complicated

object orianted stuf is needed for writing games,and yeah, vb6 does fully

support oop(object orianted programming) as well as classes

,propertys,functions ,etc
there is nothing new in .net, the things are just

upgrated to a much better structure of hirarcy of objects
not to mention

the .net ide(integrated development environment) is much less friendly than

vb6's
and malock:
microsoft still lets you download older versions of

direct x than 9.0c, as the mention of a direct x API needed to interact with

dx8 and vb6,I never herd of it

what I was thinking. I have Vb and my friend doesn't and I don't have the

setup file. I can get it from someone but I figured it'd be easier to just

use Vb.net Express since he can easily get it it.
