Oh okay then never mind hehe. Don't worry about it.

Oh yeah, and the thing about Aspi search, did you sayI had to type
something in google? Your msg wasn't that clear.
Oh yeah,
James, could you give me a link to the aspi4all thing and
give a brief explanation of what it is? Tried doing a search and found
nothing. So please help me out if you can. It'd be very appreciated
You
don't need a DVD burner, just a DVD ROM. Even a DVD burner isn't that much
these days, but a DVD Rom shouldn't be hard to get hold of if you don't
already have one.
That's assuming the game is on DVD and not CD.
By
the way, there's an edit link below your posts. If you use that it saves
the mess of having several posts in a row.
True, I just posted these after I posted my messages. I know, but I
felt like putting in separate posts. It's fun.
Okay, so I have the
program now. Which exe do I click on? Not really sure. The aspi4all.exe
doesn't seem to load the appropriate program.intro movies. How do I get the
rest of the media files?
Another problem. The MK trilogy game isn't
working. Because when I scan cd rom, I got only the speech files and the
It might be fun but it's hard to keep up with your messages - often I
don't see anything until someone posts besides you and then I have about
four messages of yours to look through. Please put everything you want to
say in one message instead of four or five consecutive posts. Aspi4all is
something which installs the adaptech aspi drivers. FOr some reason they
are usable but only by certain licensed programs like Easy CD Creator and
other windows programs (windows media player?). Aspi4all and maybe
ForceAspi let any program use the drivers (which are free anyway) to do
low-level cd operations allowing programs like PSound to read data that's
not part of the file system (like cd audio - the .cda files are just "links"
windows makes to the actual data). Playstation music is stored in the XA
format which is similar to cd audio in that though there are .xa files on
the discs, the actual information is raw data which must be read with
something like aspi.
Basically it lets you access psx music and movie
sound in PSound.

Try
that.
Okay...another thing now. I just tried Mortal Kombat: Deception, and
the PSound thingy doesn't work with it. Now, question is did you make any
settings for MOrtal Kombat DA? Or did you just scan the file MKDA.pak?
Either that, or they fixed the MKD sounds in another way...don't know, but
please help. I wanna try to make my sound collection big...hehe.
Hi,
I think playing around with mainstream game sounds is interesting, but
what about games for the blind? Why are games made out of sound
encrypted?
I have several questions:
How can i open the super decout 1.1
.dan files and play them with the correct speed?
Does anyone know a program
like Psound that can scan for wma and ogg files?
I think, that the contents
of the .bsc files from hounter Pipe 2 and Troopanum 2 contain wma files.
When i scan Pipe 2 I get 56 wav files, but that aren't all files. Same goes
for dragon unpacker.
Troopanum 2 and hounter doesn't work.
Can anyone
help me please?
thanks,
Lord_Raven
well
the .dan files sound with lots of distortion, i don't know how you fix
it.
It would be cool to get those weapon sounds of mortal combat or
something in wav format, i like making my own sequences of sound so i mix
the files so i can do like you play the game, but it is rather mixing the
files. well, ya know, i just like to mess around with sounds. lol. well i
haven't tried piepe 2 with psound, only troop2 and i did get 0 files
either
I know, but that could be because the troop2 files could be wma files.
Psound can't scan for them. Remember, in troop 1.6 you had to run the
config.exe. The most files in this folder were wmas until you ran config for
the first time. The files were converted. We need a program, that can look
for wmas in files (like Psound) and one to do the same with ogg files.
By
the way: Are there more cheats for troop 2 or is dan the one known.
And
what's about pipe 2. Who has posted the official info about the cheats into
the cheats section. The text, that is there is an exact copy of a section of
the orginal readme file. Is no person in this world, who can post the pipe 2
and troopanum 2 cheats and where to enter them?
Thanks,
Lord_Raven
They are not WMA files - it said specifically no decompression was
neded like in the older troopanums. I can listen to the trop 2 sounds but
they sound majorly distorted/twice as loud as they should be when I open the
file in soundforge. Dan is the only cheat for troopanum, I asked him. If
you want the pipe cheats get more than 2,000,000 points on medium then you
can pretend to be a better player.
Stil, noone answered my question.
lol... I just wanna see what
MODS I can make with Mortal Kombat sounds. That why I asked..
