Hi guys. I have gotten a sci-fi sound effects library, in mp3 sound format. So it rocks but sadly I can't use it.
That's not a problem to convert it to wav, the real problem is this:
So say in 1 file called track80.mp3 I have some door/airlock sounds. I mean some, a few sounds in 1 file seperated by a silence, lasting about 2 seconds.
I want to split all the sounds to separate files,
Autonatically. I'm looking for a program that would detect the silence and cut the files to separate the sounds. Goldwave can do it but I wanna process multiple files, 4 folders to be specific.

Easy, use a mp3 joiner to concatinate all the files into 1 big file and do it with goldwave. You will end up with small files in the end.

A little help would be cool. the software called just "mp3 joiner" in its trial form can join only up to 50 files, I need to join 320 or so. Goldwaves "file merger" didn't inserted the silence in the files where they've ben joined causing the "auto cue" "silence mark" feature to not set cues in some spots causing files to be together causing a similar issues I had prior.
