Does anyone have "the million dollar strike" or "the million dollar goal" in a format accessible to the blind? Both these books are by Dan gutman. If you can point me in the right direction on where to get it I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I don't know for sure
check if they have it at
www.bookshare.org
(idk if you would need to be registered to get those books if they're even there)

Yeah you'd need a subscription, though you need to reside in the US to get a subscription. RFB&D might also have it, but then again, you need to subscribe with a membership and need to reside in the US. Maybe the gutonberg project (probably misspelling that) also might have it if it's in the public domain.

Hi. If you have a friend who has a copy of the material you're looking for, and if you have access to a scanner (i.e. borrow, rent, or buy one), and if you have OCR (TextBridge, OmniPage, Kerzweil, FineReader, OpenBook, etc), you can scan it using OCR. Of course it won't be as good as standard eText from the web. Or, go on the website (if there is one) for the material you're looking for, and perhaps you can buy it in an electronic format (PDF, doc, rtf, etc).

For the scanner suggestion: If you have access to an Epson scanner, it can ship with Abbyy fine reader sprint. It does the OCR job very well, and you don't need to buy anything extra.
