Anyone done this yet? I've gotten to step four, downloading a free app from the app store... what am I supposed to do after that? It says that Cidia actually replaces the default app... but I have the app only, and it's not accessible so I can't do anything with it. Any help? Thanks!
I'm confused as to what you're trying to do. Currently there isn't a jailbreak for iOS 7.1 unless you have an iPhone 4. There won't be another jailbreak until iOS 8.

That website, the video, everything that is related to the 7.1 jailbreak, is a scam. Do not attempt this, or else you'll just be giving money to these idiot people who think that they can exploit the app store, so that the app you downloaded actually gets replaced by Cydia.

Good thing most of my jailbreaks weren't ones I couldn't live without then. and there was no money involved... so I'm safe. Ah well. I can wait until IOS 8, unless the old jailbreaking method still works.

The list of apps that they give you to download probably have ads in them. Upon clicking the app and letting the ads display, they get some money and another download for their app.
Yeah, ads and affiliations. The apps earn money for the scammers. Very, very sleazy.
And after all, I don't really think jailbreaking with just using Safari does not work that easily, also you cannot actually download any content while Cydia's being installed.
