Hi all. I had to replace my Fedora because it was being a very bad distribution with Sabayon Linux. I checked my Windows partition, and it still remains. But, when I try to go to Windows in Grub, it loops back to the Grub menu and won't go. I have system data on /dev/sda2, and my actual Windows is on /devs/da3. The config file wants to boot /dev/sda2, but I'm not exactly sure what kind of system date is on there. Should I set it to /dev/sda3?
Thanks,
Hunter

@king gamer222

Which version of Windows do you use?

The default installation of Windows 7-8.1 uses one small partition for the boot data and a larger for the operating systemm.

There are two versions of Grub and of particular note is that UEFI requires a special setup.

Grub2, and Windows seven. As for UEFI, I thought that came on computers after Windows eight.
