The guys at Agrip have been working over time it seems since in little over a month they now have a second release candidate, with the news announcement here.

The goals for this candidate are to prevent people faking their identity, so the scores servers are more accurate. They also plan to turn over more of the development to the community and will apparently be looking for people to help with development in the near future. Previous news items said the original people behind it are planning to keep working, but on other projects that will work with Audio Quake presumably to provide easier extension capability or other tools.

According to the news there they really want to get this right to stop abuse and make things fair, before the final release of 0.3.0 comes out, and so need people to test it badly. This version apparently also fixes some bugs, as you would expect.

So whether you've never tried it out, or you're a dedicated player, now is the time to really take note it would seem.
