Hello

Ok. I'm getting sort of desperate. Are dvd recorders at all accessible to the blind? I heard there are some editing features. My questions are as follows:

What are all the editing features available and what do they mean?
How are most of the operations performed on this player (in view of editing etc, and also the recording of tv shows)?
How do you find a dvd recorder with a external hard drive compared with a stand-alone dvd recorder (record directly to disc)?

I know, I know. Every recorder/player is different. I'm talking about in general; cutting commercials out? Is that in the question? Setting the recorder to make a chapter so long? Etc. I hope someone on this forem has used one, because I'm getting a little desperate- don't want to make the wrong decision and buy something packed with features I'll never be able to use. Alternitively, if such features are accessible, I don't want to miss out on them!
