After google searching "Pokemon MUD", I found this thing.
It's a MUSH, where you can play as a pokemon or a human.
If you play as a human, the things you can do are many: You can be a trainer, breeder, or even a gym leader.
If you play as a pokemon, you can be wild and even be caught.
The bad news is: This MUSH is really! confusing to new players.
To play, you have to submit a character aplication via email, and this is done using a strict! format.
The application must be in the actual email, and not an attachment.
So, unless you are ready to spend some time doing you application, and then ready to deal with more rules than you can shake a pokeball at, I don't! suggest this one.
However, it is really a good play, because of the possibilities of what you can do.
Overall: I don't know.
With all the time involved, I don't see a point:
After all, there is pokemoncreed, monbre and pokemon moon.
But, if you feel like it, go ahead.

However, don't even! try connecting with VIPmud.
