that's exact;y all i want! if the saurce code is realeased, please, can
someone compile it? i want to try out the game! also... if the saurce code
is realeased and it is compiled, i'll need someone to figure out the
controls... and... also... the wav files. the beta testers may need to do
something if this is to work (if jason decides to release the current beta
version to the public, then it won't need compiling but otherwize he'll
eithere need to include the wav files in the zip archive with the saurce, or
make an installer to include in the zip archive. i dont even kniow if dc can
be compiled. all i really wanted to do was to try it out. but i dont know if
i ever will... i feel real bad of xl studios si closing. jason sw has served
the comunity well. he created self destruct and giftanum)
ok. im gonna try
to make time things and a brief history of xl from when i've found it. if
any of the datesare wrong here please correct me!
in janurary, 2004, i went
back to audiogames net since i've never been thwere for a while at that
time.
i descovered self destruct, of cause there was no demo, but xlstudios
si was developing it. (at taht time, xl studios si was called xl games
sd.)
in about march, xl released a concept demo of sd. it contained the
first 3 levels.
in april, selfdest 1.1 was released with some patches as
well. this had the option to perchis the game and also play 4 levels.
in
about july of 2004 (i think it was then?) sd was made abandonware because of
one of the new fetures and mager bugs imn sd 1.2 beta.
nnow, 2005, i
downloaded the abandonware version and it had a key generater. Jason also
started developing dc and bongo, and made giftanum at the end of 2004.
now,
july of 2005, he has decided to end xl studios si after doing a great job
for the comunity!
wewill remember xl studios si, for ever.
thanks jason
for makeing some great games!
i hope somewhen you will open another game
company!
sorry for the really long post.
