hello,
as i said in another topic, i create irc scripts.
i currently

don't have very much knowledge, but me and aaron are developing an irc

version of super liam. this means we are developing a text version, via

irc.
some words about irc:
for you who don't know, irc stands for

internet relay chat. with this you can communicate with people from all

around the world.
we are developing an irc version of sl with some slight

changes. also, instead of pressing keys, you type in commands. for

example:
!kill_trooper_4
or whatever. this would let you kill the fourth

trooper. there is not any sound, so requires a screen reader.
what do you

guys think about this idea? we can also develop irc versions of other games

if you want. let us know what you think.

actually, i don't even know if liam minds if we do this. at least we

don't use any of the soudn files or music or anything.

I

used to be an IRC user long ago. I remember writing some scripts that would

play .wav files, mini-jukebox type of script. You could link a specific

command, such as "!kill" with a certain sound file instead of solely relying

on screen readers. This might add to the enjoyment. Just another idea.

i

know that you can do that, but again, i don't know if liam minds we do

this. and plus, if the users who play the irc version of sl, don't have the

audio version of sl, they wouldn't hear the sounds.

I

thought you were going to write an original game using IRC scripts that was

like SL, not use IRC scripts to make a derivative work.

well

we are maybe going to create a website if possible to host the original

super liam irc version on, and some other scripts for your bot. we currently

are still developing the game, but if you wanna try it, if you have mirc, i

am usually on the server irc.freedomchat.org port 6667. you can all be a

beta tester of it and send suggestions and report bugs.
i am working on

super liam II irc version (yes, i know that game isn't out yet, but i am

trying to make something that i think it will be like, but then with

sound.
