hi
i'd like to do a little voice acting for some of my mods among other things and i was wondering if any of you guys out there knew of a free voice recorder that i can use to make mp3 clips. (wav if not)
i've been looking on the internet and i haven't found any that i like, i've tried a couple including one from nch swiftsoft

You could use CDEX which can record MP3's and wav files. You can get it from:
http://www.whitestick.co.uk
Then click on downloads, and then CDEX.

cdex has no effects or anything like that though. you could make a wav file using cdex, and use sound recorder to mix the sounds in. note: sounds you mix in must also be wav files, you can use audacity to convert mp3 and oggs into wav.
