hi.
i have just made a new montezuma's revenge mod.
using a new program i have, called audacity i have created a range of new sounds and installed them in the alchemy games version.


story line.

doctor wobble has been released from prison and almost straight after building a new lab/lair he strikes back at smeegle and smith.
breaking into smeegle's lab he stole all of smeegle's test monkeys and has turned them into an advanced race of super monkeys.
as well as this he has installed bionic implants in the monkeys, giving them super strength and armed them with high powered bio disrupters.
having changed your monkeys into his own robotic guard and stolen jewls and gold coins from your own bank account you feel that you both must act.
however an extra challenge faces you, for as well as taking away smeegle's test monkeys he also went to the amazon forest to bring back some extra muscle.
hearing of a race of ape known only as donkey kongs.
he found this rare species of ape and stunning them took them back to his lab and gave them lazers and bionic implants to make them his own servants.
you must go into wobble's lab and bring back your treasure as well as smeegle's beloved monkeys, and the baby monkeys which wobble stole is keeping inprisoned inside the lab. and you must also of course return the donkey kongs to their true habbitat.


now, although i made these new sounds for alchemy's version, i suppose you could use them for the usa games version too.
i am not you understand offereing the game itself, only the sound folders so that you can go through them and use what you want.
so, i will put all new sounds into one folder and will attach them to an e-mail, and either submit them to audiogames or send them directely to whomever wants them.
also, the baby monkeys mentioned will be replacing the gem sound. using audacity i sped up monkey 3 in alien outback from 0 to 20 and made baby monkeys to collect.

so, what do you think.
p.s, can anyone tell me where i can get a donkey kong country main them in wav?
and can you make short sound sequences with audacity.
if so, how?

not as far as i know, although i use audacity quite often for pitch (but not tempo) changes, or tempo (but not pitch) changes. it is my secondary sound editor, and will be my primary when i have used 3000 commands in goldwave.

sure mike, i'll put together all the new sounds i introduced, and place them in one folder.
the only problem is to send them to you i need your e-mail address, but there's always that spam element.
if you posted it over night and then deleted it the next day
that way at least i'd have enough time to get it before any damage is done.
i'm not actually sure how big this folder will be, how big can something be to send via e-mail attachment?

the sound file is 3.46 mb in size.

so, is that small enough to send attached to an e-mail message.
if it is then great, if not then i'll have to try and compress it.
all sounds are titled as they are in monty and come from
player
adversaries
menu
tiles

well it won't work for the usa version, it will if you change the sound names though. mailboxes can't generally hold a lot, you could try it though.

You could try to send it as an email or you could use yousendit http://www.yousendit.com to send it. It lets you send larger files and the person downloads it. Anyway i hear its not good to give out your email on a public forum, so, dunno what to do about that.

well then i'll have to submit the sound file to audiogames' mods section.
can anyone clue me in on how to send mod sound files to audiogames?
i havve 2 mods now.
monty and showdown.
i am also offering a bonus pack for montezumas.
using audacity i have made 5 mutant sounds for monty that can be used.
basically they're a mixture of each wav animal in the vipgames world
list.
clone sheep 1, 2, 3 and 4
sheep 2 and 4
monty1 spider
monty1 skull (sped up)
the tiger from the short level before doctor wobbles lab in mb.
a few different beeping sounds from mb

so, the recipe for each.
mutant1- sped up skkull + sheep + swim stroke1 from mb
mutant 2- sped up skull + sheep + acid wade sound from mb
mutant 3- sped up skull + sheep + 4 different beeps.
mutant 4- spider_attack + sped up skull + lazer from findsounds.com

and mega mutant
each one merged together using audacity.

so, how can i use winrar to compress this files and send them to audiogames.i tried attaching the monty one and it wasn't accepting the folder as an attachment.
p.s i've finished the showdown mod, it comes with a female version aswell.

Just use winzip, just go to the folder, hit the applications key, then hit z for winzip, then hit enter on add to zip file, then select the zip file use open or create then hit the add button and it'll add the  folder
