Hi,
A fiew days ago, I bought Norton Antivirus 2003.
I have a question though. When I update Norton, will it Update to the updates that Norton Antivirus 2006 Updates to?
Thanks.

But you will still only have the 2003 version I believe.

There's two parts: program updates and virus definitions.

Program updates are like patches for the antivirus.

Virus definitions tell Norton how to find and neutralise new viruses.

I believe you recieve 12 months of of virus definition updates when you first buy Norton antivirus, then you must either pay for another 12 month's updates or buy the next version which tends to come out towards the end of the year.

The program updates on the other hand I believe are only fixes. In most programs there is a clear difference between updates and upgrades. An update would be something like version 2.2 to 2.3, an upgrade would be 2.2 to 3.1. Similarly you should be able to get all updates for antivirus 2003, but won't be moved up to 2004 or beyond.
