try to press ctrl+insurt+esc. it recompile's the scripts.

very strange. if script editor is empty, there is no scripts installed. I am looked in my enu folder a few seconds ago, but there I don't found a fie like xl.

I have office 2002 and it working good.

Sorry for the double post. Anyway, I have dropped a message to FS, did some googleing, and did some looking at the scripts that had xl in the name. From the best I can tell, something broken and I didn't break it neither Does it look like I'm the only one with this problem. Funny enough, NVDA works better with XL 2007 then the jaws I have on my system. That should put FS to shame.

Well, I could say that I'm a very happy Mac user without many annoying issues, and I always had lots of issues then I used Jaws.
Well, now to your issue: If you have installed Office 2007 after you istalled Jaws, something in the Jaws scripts might be broken. Try to reinstall Jaws 12, and remove all shared settings and the components.  Use NVDA as the screenreader because your video intercept will be uninstalled as well.
I hope to hear from you if that works or not.

OK. sorry for the duble post. FS sent me a message back asking me to delete my peronal settings which I did. Don't why, but that fixed it. Now to find out which settings I can restore and which I can't. OH yes, I will post the message I got from them below and I X out any personal info.

First, please delete your JAWS user settings and restart the computer.

To set JAWS to the defaults:

If you are using any third party scripts, back them up first.

1. Press the windows logo key to open the Start Menu.

2. Press the letter P for Programs or go to the all programs sub-menu.

3. Press the letter J till you come to the JAWS version you are looking for and press enter.

4. Press Enter on Explore JAWS.

5. Down arrow to explore my settings and press Enter.

6. Press control+A to select all settings then hold down the shift key and press the delete key. If prompted, press enter on yes.

7. Restart JAWS.

Well, I know within forty something files where the problem is. I've made a backup of the files before deleting. Something screwed up somewhere and I will find it sometime. I usually copy things over by hand. this usually isn't a  problem, because everything was in one place. The odd thing was that I don't recall having this problem, but then again every now or then a problem would crop up close to this when updating, but that usually happon when I had a file in two different places like the alls users folder and the folder in someone's account...
