hi,
I'm just wondering how do I know when I'm searching for someone, if that's the right person?
eg: if I was searching for kelly chan, and there is at least 2 pages of kelly chans, how do I know who my classmate is

dd that's a tough one.  Usually people figure that out by looking at the people's profile picture to see which is the real person they are after.  Without being able to visually confirm it, I don't think there is any easy way to figure out which is the right one.

you can also check if they have mutual friends with you. if it's a class mate,  then their  more likely to have mutual friends, also have a look at their info

because you're looking at your own info
if you look at non-friend's info, you can't see who it is

Well, to be honest, they should have a network that which displays where they're from if I'm correct. Although, what the best decision is invite your friend, bring him around to your house, explain the problem, get him to face the computer and look at which one it is, then correcting you. Or ask your friend, is it the second one wwith your name or the first one?

you could click on each of those search results in turn, and look at certain details on there page, for example, age and school or college.

I usually take a look at the profile information.  If it doesn't show anything, I've been known to send a private message and ask if they are indeed the person I am searching for, and apologize if they turn out not to be. *grin*
