I believe it was 2016 I last tried the game myself and found the as conner.
I did find navigation easier sometimes by switching into focus mode and hitting the arrows to move tabs, then switching back to focus mode, likewise if I remember rightly with the ammo popup it was easier to find the edit area.
In general its become a game far more about clicking hotspots and finding bits of images or text on pages than one with easy links, especially with the interface not being very customisable.
I will alter the description to reflect this.
to be honest, while I did play torn at one time pvp isn't interesting to me, and I am not really a fan of the hole crime gangster thing either, so I never really expended much time and effort on the game, plus Torn is the one online community I've seen where higher level players will pick on new players as a matter of course, ---- someone once even tried to scam me out of a valuable collectable I'd found and then had a go at me when I didn't take them up on it.
If your interested in torn though Caccio, there are several games that use the old style torn code and interface which is far more accessible, and yet have nicer communities and a better ethos.
Blade of eternity is one mentioned this site, which has a rather nice system of crafting and is far less about the crimes, there was also one I was trying just before the forum went boom called zombocco, and there are several others kicking around too if you check google.
Some (such as a pirate themed one), are horribly inaccessible with graphics galore. Others (like Dragon flighT), HAVE ANNOYING BUGS OR graphical problems, hence why I didn't add them to the db, but there are still several floating around if that's your type of thing.
With our dreaming and singing, Ceaseless and sorrowless we! The glory about us clinging Of the glorious futures we see,
Our souls with high music ringing; O men! It must ever be
That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)
