This mud has been around since 99. It's pretty good, at least from what the site says. I'm still trying to get passed the beginning newbie section, but its pretty cool. You can be a tun of different races, i'm not sure about all of them as i chose human, but they will be something you will have to find out for yourself.
You can start as a fighter, a pilot, an engineer of some sort, heal others, and many others I can't remember. Connect info is:

If anybody knows about this one already and knows more than I do, please talk about it here. Its deffinately one for any major star wars fan. Also a note, it doesn't have a blind mode. Not that it really needs one, reading lines can get a bit spammy with all the weird symbols though at times.

Yeah I've been playing this one for a little while now. It's a lot of fun when you get involved with a clan, as they'll help you get geared up and such. Some things are tough to do with a screenreader though. Engineering, for example, most designs are color-coded, but it's not a problem if you can find them posted on your clan's message board or wherever. I imagine large-scale space battles would be extremely difficult as well, because of all the number spam. It'd be nice if this one had a soundpack, but you don't need one to enjoy it.

When we speak about star wars games, my opinion is: for screen reader users the best accessible game is return of the jedi.

If you're talking about the room with the language instructer which is just north of where you begin, you have to actually say yes. When you first log in with your character, there's a number that you have to type right before your char wakes up, and in this case it's 9484, but it changes.

there is a blind mode, you can turn it on in  config with config +screenreader no there is no soundpack for return of the jedi, and you have to rent your eq which means you have to spend a lot of time playing or loos stuff. Legends of the jedi does in fact have a sound pack, type help sound from in the game though the link is broken, I'm sure they can fix it I'll ask them and then get back to ya.

I do wish there is a sound pack for this game.  It is an amazing game, but was sound a could be even more amazing to feel like you're in the Star Wars universe

I actually forgot about this, should really get back on. I think there may be a soundpack floating around somewhere though i'm not even sure what client its for let alone how good it is.

when you turn screen reader mode on, the symbols and colors turn into text, also, there is now a screen reader prompt which allows you to only see the important info while moving
