What's the audio game you think you've played more than any other? Or the one you keep returning to, time and time again? I ask this because mine is one you probably wouldn't expect. It's Pontes Back Gammon. I've been playing it for years, and it's still my go-to game when I want to just waste half an hour or so of my life. Even though the computer is easy to beat, I'm now only interested in winning games where the computer doesn't remove a single counter, so that makes it more challenging. I see how many times I can beat the computer that way. And there's a timer, so I also like seeing how fast I can beat the computer this way.
The thing I love about back gammon, the game itself, is that it's endlessly variable. Even though I myself always adopt the same approach whereby I try to block my opponent rather than just trying to get my counters round the board as quickly as possible, the game never really becomes predictable. This is why I still regularly play it after all these years. I loved it as a kid, and it was great to find a really playable audio version a few years ago. The last thing I'd say about it, is that unlike something like chess, it's pretty easy to keep track of the board's layout in your head without having to keep arrowing around to check where everything is. So even though BK3 was way more stimulating and addictive, and is undoubtedly my favourite audio game, Pontes BG is actually the one I've played the most over the longest period. So what's yours.

Very very tough question, I've played too many to say or remember which ones I've played most.
I do play A hero's call, crazy party, sound RTS, tactical battle, Park boss, Tube sim, Redspot sometimes, and some others, and I just jump back and forth between them when I'm board.

For the games I played the most, I would say BK3, Crazy Party, Shadow Line and Entombed in approximately that order. The game that I play the most at the moment are Crazy Party and Marina Break, but I have quite much trouble getting better at it.

Hmm,!
I've sat here for at least 5 minutes giving this question some serious thought, and I can't come to a precise answer.  If there's any game I've returned to over and over again through the years it's Alter Aeon, but that has recently gone out the window for me owing to the change in focus of priority and importance where the staff and, um, top players are concerned, I guess.  that means I more than likely won't be going back to it any time soon for any stretch of time that involves me actually taking the game seriously.
So what does that leave?  Lunimals?  Crazy Party?  Sound RTS?  Judgement Day?  I'm honestly not sure, but all of these I play more or less equally.  Methinks AHC is gonna end up a favorite before long, though.

When life gives you oranges, demand lemons since everyone else is obviously getting them.

I would say that would have to be STW for me, with crazy party second, manamon, since I completed it, 3rd. with that said, RTR is still fun if I want to just kill half an hour of my life.

Tank commander and the blind swordsman are two other games I can return to time and again knowing I'll have fun just quickly completing them, so they have that kind of easy revisitability. I just don't know what it is about certain games that I just never seem to get fully bored of them.

I'm in sort of the same position as Nocturnus. There are some games I come back to and finish because they're old friends, others I spend ages trying to complete, others I stick on for a quick blast, then leave for a while and return to later, it  does depend upon my mood.

crazy party, the esp pinball games alteraeon, Cosmic rage, Entombedd and Bk3 are games that come to mind as ones I've recently put time into but what else goodness knows.

With our dreaming and singing, Ceaseless and sorrowless we! The glory about us clinging Of the glorious futures we see,
Our souls with high music ringing; O men! It must ever be
That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)

Hmm? Now time for me: BK1, BK3, The Return Of The King, Entombed. That's my list

I've spent the most time on Swamp, likely followed by Miriani which was mostly a giant waste in the end but that had allot to do with my age, then probably either Entombed or Alter.
Games I keep coming back to would be RTR, Entombed, super Deekout and Screaming Strike, though I haven't played Entombed for a while after playing AHC.

It's indeed a good question. For me it depends on the mood and time. Currently I'm sticking to Crazy Party, Shadow Line and A Hero's Call. If I also could include a Mainstream game, I'd say Dragon Ball Fighters of Z is definitely in the list too.

Kind regards!

The game I've gotten back to more than any other is probably soundRTS. I never really play it offline though, but it remains one of my favourite games to play online. The other one is tactical battle, I started with it later than soundRTS but also keep coming back to it. I guess I like strategy.

This is a tough question, but ultimately I'd have to say Beatstar is the game I've come back to more than any other in recent memory. There are still packs I haven't beaten yet, even though there haven't been any new ones for awhile. And the variety of packs, the minigames, and the addictive nature of the gameplay are everything I want in an audio game.

Aprones Swamp gets first place for both time and replay.  All in play previously had that dubious honour.  Old favourites include David Greenwoods Time of Conflict and Tank Commander, though Aprones Castaways deserves a revisit also..  At one point Sound RTS was my favourite game, these days I spend more time on QuentinC's gameroom than elsewhere.

Alter Aeon has to be number 1 still, in conjunction with mush z its the closest thing for me  to playing graphical games when I had sight.

I tend to return to tube sim, park boss, beatstar, rhythm rage, sound rts.

I also love eurofly but wish it had goals in it like tube sim because its a bit boring for me now.  but my favourite game at the moment which has taking up most of my time is WEBL.

I an still on my never ending quest to find a decent accessible football manager game though, 15 years and still counting.

I've played many, but my favorite game of all time is either crazy party, manamon or Adventure at c:.
The one I've played the most is definitly Adventure at c:, my save file has been played over 13 days and Three hours!
I've made over 50 stages.
It's so funny listening to me playing as like a ten year old, because, for some very weird reason, my friend and I couldn't hear the difference between a corrupt sector and an item! Roflflfl, don't ask how, seriously, wow. We would find an item, and then sit there for like 20 minutes trying to find out if it was an item or a corrupt sector! At the end, we would always just decide not to take the risck, so we just jumped over it. I couldn't find out how to Complete the Levels because I never got any items. LOL. Yeah, as you probably can tell, Adventure at c: is definitly one of my favorite games of all time, and I've had so so much fun With it.
Anyway, enough talking from me

None. I learned about audio games years after I started playing mainstream games and while I've played many audio games I just don't find them enjoyable enough to stick to them long term. The mainstream games I played the most are dragon ball z budokai 3 on ps2, the naruto storm games on ps3 and ps4 and now dragon ball fighters z.

My favorite games tend to change after something new comes out. A game comes out and I'll play it for weeks until I complete it or get bored. In recent memory, AHC comes to mind, with the majority of my playtime coming during the private beta phase, though I also played quite a bit after release. I also got seriously addicted to Audio Strike. I was grinding at that game for a few weeks, a few hours a day until I completed it and recently I came back to it to buy out all the upgrades for a ship.

The thing I've been consistently coming back to, even with all the other stuff coming out, is crazy party. The replay value is there with the on-line multiplayer and the community around the game is also really nice with very little toxicity. Plus Pragma keeps coming out with new versions of the game that keep adding new cards which can completely change the balance. I'm part of the Skype group and love to pop into games when someone announces they're hosting one.

Then on the iOS side, maybe this isn't so much an audio game but I also keep coming back to dice world. It's a great game because I can literarly play it whenever I have time, so it's become part of my rutine. When I wake up  all the notifications are waiting for me so I take my turns, and then I keep coming back to it when I have a few minutes IE while waiting for something or when I have a break at work. The game is pretty good at selecting active players for random games so I often get a few challenges every few weeks without even starting games myself, though I also do it if it gets too quiet.
