Hi.
I realise that fx pinball won't be fully playable, but I'll be able to have fun with it never the less.  Regardless, I just downloaded it and was very surprised to see that menu choices and table choices speak.  OCR works pretty well as well, but I wasn't expecting that.

what is FX pinball can you tel somethink more about this

Hi,
it's a free to play pinball game on mainstream consoles such as xbox, ps4, steam etc.
fun to mess around with, if nothing else.  I used to love the pinball on windows xp, and could occasionally keep the ball in for a fair while. smile

This is actually pretty addicting. Even if it's just me spamming the left and right shift keys.

Whoa. OK, I'm reinstalling steam for this. So it's self voicing? How about options and the like?

Take care, it's a desert out there.

Hi,
I have the xbox one version, and it's a little tricky but still cool. Unfortunately, the Universal Table pack with Jaws, Back to The Future and ET is expensive for what it is, because they could not get the rights to use the original film music, so to me, it actually makes it a bit generic.

2018-02-26 13:52:11

Any tips for when playing the game?

hang on, I'm missing something here. you can't put jaws on an xbox can you?

2018-02-26 16:59:00

Jaws the movie with the shark, not the screenreader.

So nobody get their hopes up, but I've noticed that zen studios do actually respond to feedback and questions.  has anybody played pinball such as pinball extreme?  I'm trying to think of a way to make the experience more playable.  there are already a lot and I do mean a lot of sound queues and speach for things already, but there must be something we can at the very least suggest to improve things.  thoughts?

2018-02-28 22:18:48

It is a great concept, I love pinball style games so it will be a nice to make this game more accessible.
I have tried to play a capaign mode but It is tricky because there is a time limit.
I dont understand this but this games say that I have reached a time limit for trial version of this table and I need to unlock the full version.
I dont know which tables are free but I think that all tables are locked.
Maybe it is not true I dont know.
So try to write to developers.
I think that there is a lot to do, because this game doesnt have a lot of important sounds, for example I dont know when the ball is moving and when I need to use a hands to send it to another direction.
I dont know also when we lost the ball.
I want to play this game fully because it has a great concept

2018-02-28 23:00:02

Not sure if it's just me or there's a sound already for this, but I'd like a sound for the ball whether it's near my left or right flipper.

I was thinking the same thing.  I'm let me know if you think of anything else; I want to make as coherent email as possible.  you guys should do likewise if you want. smile
There are so many sounds and clips which let you know what is going on, a few more for ball location would be incredibly useful.  how about haptic feedback?  you get that with a controler.

That could be super useful as well actually. Also I know there are certain minigames, is there any sort of special feedback we'd need for those, or. Also I'm not sure if it'd be possible, but it'd be great to have a spoken score. It doesn't read that amazingly with OCR.

Hmm, this is quite fun, just grabbed it for my Xbox One and completed the tutorial without the help of OCR... well you can't actually figure it out with OCR anyway because she doesn't "show you how" in text.

In the regular game, I've found this whieper dude, somebody with electricity saying "Get over here", but ultimately I don't know what I'm doing. This could easily be fixed though, I noticed that there's a ton of audio queues... menus aren't fully voiced but it's a damn good start, I'd say, and tonight I've been having issues with my OCR connection. May have to put my video output to low in settings perhaps.

Hi all.
Well there is an answer sort of.
Can you run jaws on your x box1.
If its the movie, the dvd will play if that means can you access its menus select audio description, I am not sure probably not I am unsure.
Can you run jaws the screen reader on x box.
No you can't, but nvda 2018 when it comes out is a windows app.
Since the x box 1 is now a windows 10 based os then you probably could run nvda on it.
Weather the interface would work is another thing.
Microsoft like changing their so called universal automation interfaces without notice.
Nvda and its addons have the best chance of catching up with it compaired to something like jaws but even though its free and opensource they have the same issues.

Hi.
I gave the old Pinball a try back in Windows xp, and it was quite fun. I never got good at it though. Sounds like the new game have more audio. It would be very interesting if the game could be make more accessible. Maybe the developers would make this game the first game which supports Narrator on the XBox.

Best regards SLJ.

Hi,
Going back to a previous point a sec, that would be freakin amazing if the new NVDA will work with the xbox, although ont getting my hopes up as it' another paltform that people use the controller more for, so hey'd have to come up with an interface for that, but wow. At the same time though, I do like the xbox narrator but it does sometimes lag a bit.

2018-03-01 17:24:14

I'd be amazed inf NVDA 2018 actually worked on the Xbox, but I doubt it. Xbox is not your standard Microsoft windows operating system at all. Your standard programs like Shades of Doom or Skype aren't going to work on it if you just send them to it. Special versions of the apps have to be ported to the platform because while it's windows 10, it sure as hell ain't windows 10 that your used to. smile For example, if you go install Halo 4 on your Xbox, then try and run that same version on your PC.... no dice, man.

Seriously, this is off topic sad. NVDA will never run on the Xbox, nor does it need to because Narrator is getting improvements. Of course it's not actual Windows 10, the same one that runs on your computer.

2018-03-01 21:32:37

does some one have completed any table in this game?

2018-03-04 01:08:28

I just downloaded this game. Ocr works great with onecast on the mac, but the menus aren't actually speaking as described. I hear the announcer say main menu. She'll then describe some of the options as a sort of tutorial-ish message, but won't actually speak the options as your scroll through them.
