Well with us coming into the latter part of  and 2017 winding down, we're coming up not only on that winter season in which everybody fears the claws of Santa, but also 2018.
We have two announcements about the upcoming year which are likely to make 2018 a pretty awesome one for audiogames, and that is not counting the already mentioned Release date of Hero's call

First off German developer Everbyte has announced an amazing sounding audio adventure game, tentatively titled sound of magic. A first person adventure in which you play an amnesiac evil wizard, the game will feature voice acting, audio cut scenes and a full on interactable world as well as a detailed system of magic and spells.

Then Liam Urven of Lworks, famous in audiogame circles for games such as Superliam, Judgement day and most recently the hilarious Blinded guide, has announced an upcoming title for 2018, Brain station.

This will be a collection of 12 maths and logic games based on brain training, odd audio concepts an the usual selection of surreal Liam humour, though complete with a system of arcade coins and achievements for all of us collection junkies out there.

Happy gaming now and to come.

With our dreaming and singing, Ceaseless and sorrowless we! The glory about us clinging Of the glorious futures we see,
Our souls with high music ringing; O men! It must ever be
That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)
