For some who are looking for something a little different, this game is one. Came out in August, and works on the same principles such as For Honour, in that the main focus is a complex fighting system online. But unlike For Honour, there is no directional blocking... the game plays much like Dark Souls, where you create a character and go into a small world where you can encounter both NPCs and other players. There are three styles to choose from out of the box, and attacks are learned by simply blocking them a certain amount of times. I haven't tried this game yet personally... but it looks like a possibly playable one if not completely accessible as For Honor's directional blocking system, which was the one thing stopping it from being accessible, is not present here. Guarding is traditional, and there are perries and dodges as well, according to your style. Just thought I'd share this in case anyone else might be curious like me. The game is for ps4, xbox1 and pc. First impresions make it sound a little confusing because there's very little voie work, but it can probably be gotten used to... and the combat seems to be more about timing than blazing fast combos.
