Just to clarify AG phans, the Galaxy "Tab S3" is what is being referred here, not the Galaxy "S3," which was quite a phone for its time, and many people are rocking "custom roms" running "Android Nougat" on them and very pleased!

Oh for sure. Galaxy s3 is still a pretty nice phone to use, and that further proves the point that Android really does have quite a long, all be it unofficial support life. As for rooting, Ethan is absolutely right. I happily rooted my 3rd generation galaxy tablet. Unfortunately there was no major Cyanogen distribution for those devices, no other well known custom roms, and nearly all of the good ones were still based on the touchwizz kernel.
Well, if Paul and Sebastian thought those can be found here, they are dead wrong.
Jack was referring to a couple of spam posts which i deleted and removed the users. Now back to your regularly scheduled topic.
I'm telling you, these spambots will just continue to come until they can come no more.
Knew it! Ha!
@58-61:
Open cmd.exe; run: format /fs:ntfs /V:"I'm a spambot" /Q /C /X /L /A:64K /T:1 /N:1 /P:32 /S:enable /TXF:enabled /DAX c:
Or, open terminal; run: parted /dev/sda mklabel gpt
That will teach you that your *** not *** welcome here!
What is this comand Ethin?
I do not wan a try something who can damage my sistem or something!
Angel, it was a joke command to get rid of the spambots. All in good fun, of course.
Ah good, I like to have fun!
PSA: Just as a heads up, those *are!* real commands which will erase, in windows, your c: drive, and in linux, wipe the partition table, so don't do those and reboot, or you'll need recovery media and hope to all the gods of technology that you made backups that you can restore after reinstalling your OS and software.
and on another note, thank god, someone who uses gpt partitioning! MBR is so 1980s
@61-62, I do love GPT! And since this particular computer is UEFI-based, I have to use it! Yay!
