Does anyone have Griff or Edge of Winter? I tried to download the demo from their site but, the files aren't their.

What happened to those guys. They were posting a lot of stuff about works in progress, but nothing was ever released. I was really looking forward to play some of those games, too.

I just looked and for whatever reason the audio games archive doesn't have them unless they aren't listed under Breakerbox Studios.

Now I've been to their web site and the only offer of a playable demo I could find was for Griff but apparently that file is gone because Sendspace returns a download error.

Everything else you have to pay first before you get anything and after seeing another recent thread where someone apparently paid for Griff but never got anything, I wouldn't give them a dime.

I like their games, I really do. I just don't like the way they operate. I do consider Jake a friend but I have to be honest. I can totally understand why people can't take him seriously.

But wait, what's that? A transport! Saved am I! Hark, over here! Hey nonny non, please help!

why did they use sendspace for downloading files? wouldn't dropbox make more cense?

No. Dropbox blocks a file if it is downloaded by more than X number of different IP addresses, even for paid accounts. That's why the Blind Mice Movie Vault uses Sendspace. Sure, Sendspace meters your download speed if you don't have a paid account, but that is better than constantly having to delete, then re upload a file that has been blocked.

then why did they remove their games?

Some of us have suggested multiple times that they host their games on their website. We pay them for their games, so I don't get why the heck they aren't hosting their games on their own websites instead of continue to use free hosting alternatives, which have messed up for years. They don't take our advice seriously at all. They don't feel like pro, both because of that reason, but also because of all the promises about releases which we have preordered very long time ago. So, I see no reason to care about this company any more. They have disappointed me so much so I just can't support them anymore in the future.

Best regards SLJ.

Yeah, I remember all the promises they made about Steam Punk Neverland and Chronicles. Now I'm glad I never bought into preordering. Unless you're a big company who's word I can reasonably trust, I don't go in for preordering, I'd rather wait until it's a real live product, even if it costs me more. At the end of the day, at least I get something for my money.

Considering that you can no longer download any of their games until you've paid for them, I think their game entries in the database should changed from shareware to retail and the links to the download pages removed.
