Oh thank you, Ian. Now everyone gets to see my super-eloquent (insert sarcasm here) interview, haha.

Nice interview. When will we be able to buy the game?

Jeffb: We're currently working hard on trying to nail down a release window—this involves getting estimates from the composer and VO editor about how long the work on the score and VO processing will take, investigating some work that needs to be done to the engine before release, and so on. But I do feel closer to being able to confidently state, "We will release in this window" than we've ever been. Once we're at the point of actually being able to commit to a release window, we'll definitely post it here.

Joseph,
Congratulation on the ID@Xbox Gaming For Everyone Award!
I found that
A Hero’s Call (Out of Sight Games)

We Are Chicago (Culture Shock Games)

I, Hope (Arconyx)
won awards, but what other games were you up against?
I couldn't find a list of nominations.
I also guess that the judges were able to try out the game, lucky suckers!

The Gaming for Everyone award doesn't work quite the same way as the other IGF awards; rather than submitting nominations for the judges to consider, these are simply selected by the ID@Xbox Gaming for Everyone team. So basically they just keep an eye on the gaming landscape and if they see something they think might be deserving of recognition, they dig deeper, check out the game, and decide based on what they learn. So I suppose the answer could be, "There were no other nominees" or "We were competing against every game ever." The second option certainly sounds more impressive...

Awesome sounds great!

Joseph,
I think the 2017 Gaming for Everyone award was limited to games released from October 2016 to October 2017, so A Hero's Call would qualify.

Hi.
Congratulations. This is a great interview, and especially great for the audiogaming community.

Best regards SLJ.
