I can't believe it but while searching the Internet I found a working link for the game maitipi escape which was released in 2003.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you that if you clicked on the link and the flash appears, you have to press enter. then find start with the arrows. Please note: before you click on start, you have to activate the sleep mode of your screen reader, for NVDA shift+nvda+s. If you did that, you can press space bar to start playing.

So did I! I was ten when my father first introduced it to me (I played it in our garden on my father's laptop lol ), and I must admit that I couldn't get very far. Hell, this brings back memories. This game was considered to be gone for quite a while now! To my biggest surprise since I thought the game was in German only, it appears that this is an English version.

Hi Paddy,
right, I knew the game only in german, too. Now, it's available in english and the german version is gon, what a pity for me because I'm from Germany. But never mind, it's so cool and it really brings back memories to me, too. As I said, I couldn't believe it and was so happy to play it again.

You said to press enter then use the arrow keys? Nothing is happening... I'm using NVDA so I don't know if that matters.

Hmm, that's strange. Normally, if you press enter it should be possible to use the arrow keys to navigate to the word start. Did you already turne on the sleep mode of NVDA? It has to be off until you find the word start.
