It matters if you want the whole url to be shown or not.
I just copy then paste the url instead of trying to hide it or type it in.

Lots easier!
Moderation!
As this is a question about the site I'm moving this topic to the site and feedback area.
To answer your first question yes, posting links by just copying the url or typing www.audiogames.net will indeed turn up as links however there is way which might be a bit more elegant by using bbcode.
This involves some code within brackets (usually to the right of the p on most keyboards).
So if you wanted a link which said "Go here to visit audiogames.net" you'd type
left bracket u r l equals http://audiogames.net right bracket go here to visit audiogames.net, left bracket slash u r l right bracket.
or using the proper symbols:
[ url = http://audiogames.net/ ] go here to visit audiogames.net [ / url ]
Put it all together and you get this:
go here to visit audiogames.net
Hth.
Hi.
Alright thank you guys so much! I'll practice this so I can figure it out.

[ url = http://www.vgstorm.com/the_gate.php ] go here to visit vgstorm.com [ / url ]
Okay let me see if this works.
[ url https://www.youtube.com/ ] go here to check out youtube ] / url ]
[ url = http://audiogames.net/ ] go here to visit audiogames.net [ / url ]
Okay I got the hang of it now. Sorry for the multiple posts lol. It was actually easier than I thought, I just made a few mistakes while practicing. Thanks again for the help!
@guitarman, sorry about the confusion. I should've said you need to write the brackets and things without spaces.
I added the spaces in post 3 to my example so that you could see the actual brackets and punctuation needed for bbcode, since obviously if I typed them in as normal they would've showed up as links and you couldn't have seen how to write them.
just a test https://www.youtube.com
