Forgive the question, what is this software?
I never knew a soft called Direct Music Producer, so I do not know what functions it has, etc.
  Reading the name of this program, I think it serves to compose music, but I do not know which way the notes are inserted, if it is with Mouse, or it interacts with the PC keys or something else.

I honestly wouldn't recommend you use it; it's an interface for a now deprecated API, Direct Music. I haven't done much with it apart from viewing DLS files, however it seems accessible(ish).
