hello all,
I downloaded the new version of bt sink.
and found that it does not work well with screen-reader,
and not only that but it also has a lot of issues.
It would be really helpful, if some one could post a link for the older version, that worked well with screen-readers..

Bittorrent Sync is now Resilio Sync, and it's in fact accessible.

Resilio Sync has a web interface supporting all modern web browser, so it's possible to use it with NVDA and Jaws.

However, in order to set up Resilio Sync you must start the app with a commandline switch /webui.

Instructions for Windows:

1. Install Resillio Sync.

2. Locate the app short i the start menu.

3. Change the properties for the program launch by adding /webui to the program path and launch the app from the Start Menu.

Then the startup wizard opens in the default web browser and the remaining process is very accessible.

I can't help with MacOSX or Linux, but I assume that the steps are similar.

Resilio Sync also have apps for IOS and Android, and though I haven't been able to ttestthe the Android app for accessibility I can confirm that the IOS ap is great.

It's a quick way to transfer a lot of files from a computer to IOS without Itunes or between two IOS devices a world apart.

Resilio Sync will sync files across a LAN or the internet even if all the peers are behind firewalls.

And best of all, Resilio Sync is completely free for individual use.

All I did was install as a software service then followed the instructions after clicking on the desktop icon.

No need to jump through hoops given in post 3.

Still, it's nice to know there is another way.

I'm not sure if installing as a software service works on mac, since I don't have one.

Perhaps someone with a mac can let us know.

I myself had bt sync, but I don't anymore.
Anyone know how all that works that would be benevolent enough to walk me though it?

It's worth noting that when you install resilio sync as a service and have it open in your browser, I had to hit insert + space to get in to browse mode lots of times. I also couldn't get rid of the subscribe dialog, but entering [email protected] made that issue go away.
