Hi everyone,
Wanted to make a quick note about this upcoming browser game. The most notable thing about this game is that accessibility is a pretty huge priority, including screen readers.
I can't get to the blog at the moment, but hopefully it'll be back soon.

wait, where do you sign up to be a beta tester? I've esigned up for the newsletter, but is there something else you need to do for beta access?

I hope they change the name or they'll get Games Workshop lawyering them into oblivion...we all know how lawyer happy Games Workshop are...and Tau is a race in their WH40K series (and a bloody annoying one at that), so I'm hoping this stays online long enough and doesn't get forced to change its name....

From all I have read this will be just my type of game, I.E a bit of sryth just not so ahh full of goblins,swords and the like, byut then again who knows.

Really though, I've been looking for some hard science fiction for ages now, I love seeing something like this getting off the ground.

The more I read,the more I like.
The missions that aren't just interrelated, or intervieve the plot of 1 mission into another or the game story as a whole I am all bloody up for.

From what I have found Games Workshop already owns the Tau name and they are....well....less than reasonable.
I mean. They tiook down a book from Amazon called Spot the Space Marine simply because they claimed it infringed on their copyright. Which got pretty much the entire sci fi community to back the author and call for GW to back down. Games Workshop didn't exactly back down quietly though, and as they have Tau in their Warhammer 40k games....yeah I can see this being a problem for Tau Station unless there's some sort of licensing deal in place which should, ideally be clearly dispalyed.
I just don't want Games Workshop to find out about this and bring the legal hammer down on the idea, it sounds fantastic honestly, it sounds interesting, but I am simply worried there'll be legal issues.
Figured I'd bring this topic back up again to post a new blog post about more mission details.
If anyone is able to get in to the beta team please let know it sounds cool. I have signed up

@JaceK they can't trademark Tau, Tau is the name of a greek letter. It would be the same as trying to trademark Alpha or Beta.
Which I assume is the reason why they are no longer called Tau. They are in the process of relaunching the race, as part of that all of the recent and upcoming products refer to them as T'au instead, i.e. with an apostrophe after the T.

yeah I see that now. at the moment this game puts me in mind of torn city with a lot of the sorts of tasks you have to do.
