Hi all,
I've tried everything. Uninstalling, reinstalling the latest version of iTunes, and it just will not work, literally, the program won't launch on windows 7 64 bit. However, there's a silver lining possibly, one more thing I can try but I need some help. I will require a specific version of iTunes to get the backup of my library to work. If anyone has the installer for iTunes 12.5.3.17 kicking around anywhere, I'd be greatful if you could possibly put a link here. If not, I don't know what else to try. I feel like I'm running out of options.
Thanks in advance if anyone can find this.

Hi.
I have to check the archive if I still have it around. Did you check the file hosters witch host those older setups too?

I'm not really sure where to go. oldversion and oldapps didn't have it, it was way too out of date.

Hi,
Thanks guys. I managed to fix it by downgrading to iTunes 12.1.6, then backing up my library deleting the itunes library and then, erinstalling the new version with an empty library and importing the playlist xml file.
Thanks for everyone's help.

is the version of iTunes in this link usable with the latest NVDA? slightly afraid to upgrade from 12.3 after the disaster that was 12.4, lol had to basically use system restore, then delete my whole library and add everything again

@dd: I am now using the iTunes latest version and it's working fine with NVDA. To get to your music you click the music radio button and from ther there is a treeview when you keep tabbing, but it might be slightly sluggish. However, it does work. The store also works really nicely as well, you just have to remember to press nvda + f5 sometimes to refresh the buffer.

oh good so it does work, 12.4 for a while just messed everything up horribly, it wouldn't even read your music so if you wanted to remove anything you were screwed
not sure if you experienced that version first hand or not though

@dd: I waited until 12.4.2 and it worked fine. I then got 12.4.3.17, then tried grabbing the most recent version a few weeks back which is when the problems started, however, I have fixed them now by re-importing my library from a blank slate, latest version in tact.
