Hello,
I have a problem while connecting to the server: The iP is pasted correctly but it says that it cqannot connect. I am using Avira as my antivirus

Does a Windows Firewall dialog pop up? If it does, you need to allow it access. Also, is Direct Play installed? You need it for multiplayer.

OK, check to see if Avira is blocking something and if Direct Play is installed. Did a dialog asking for it to be installed appear? If it didn't, check if it is installed by going in to the run dialog, typing "optionalfeatures", press right arrow on the "legacy components" checkbox, and see if Direct Play is checked.
