Shadow Realm is an RPG for the Echo that appears to have been released in the past several days. It was developed by Michael Cranford, the developer of the original Bard's tale RPG, through his company Days Fly. You can play the first Third I think? for free and the full game is $3. I've just started playing and it seems to be a mix of IF and a traditional RPG. I've not played the original Bard's Tale so not sure how similar this is to that game. The Echo describes where you are and what you see and you respond with IF style commands such as "search room or "take paper". There are little sound affects in certain rooms and for certain actions but it is mostly text. I've not done this yet  but you can set up an account on the Days Fly site. I think that this is needed if you buy the full game but the account itself is free. Here's the link to the game's homepage:

You can also find it by searching for Shadow Realm in the Alexa app/web app or in the echo store. You can also tell Alexa to enable Shadow Realm directly and that should work.
