Just like aaron said, it all depends. This is a wide subject that's for sure. Here's a few examples: Sell things, play poker, do surveys though keep in mind that this last suggestion is definitely not worth it if you don't know which site is legit. I honestly think that there are much better ways to earn money than filling up surveys, though keep in mind this is only my personal opinion.

yeah surveys are not worth it in my opinion, you get only a few bucks and they are not available in all countries. For english speakers I suggest searching for translation or transcription sites, this is definitely a viable option and you can earn some good cash out of it. I work on www.workshop.castingwords.com and I've earned a few bucks but now I've got lots of work to do for university. that's a very good transcription site, there are hundreds of jobs at any time. At the beginning you can do only shorter, low difficulty jobs, but as you get experience you will be able to do more complicated ones and earn more.

this is available everywhere in the world, the only requirement is that you have good english and excellent grammar skills. Basicaly they offer transcription jobs, you have to type into text what you hear in a file and they pay you for it. when you become more experienced you can edit and grade transcriptions made by other less experienced users and you get paid for that aswell.

Making money is simply this: provide something that is too hard or too time consuming for another to bother with, they will pay you rather than do it themselves. this applies to making burgers, cars, etc. You provide a service. I simulate this even in my MUD as some players server as tour guides or craft weapons and clothing, again, provide a service.
