Good Evening,

I came back to Classic 6Dragons mud to find a few hard core players left.  I fixed a ton of bugs that I found reported and have now released the total current game at http://www.smaugmuds.org/files/download/485/  should you want to run your own version of the game.

It is the most current code and current areas already done.

The game still does run at 6dragons.tk port 4100 if you want to see what it is like.  This game is very accessible and best of all it is completely already done.  I ask nothing if you want to run your own version, but I'd appreciate it if you'd email me, so I can see what your version is like.  You never know I might be a happy player there.

Glad to here of the updates, I've been checking back on the game to see how things are going. I do hope though that even though your offering out the code to others the main game will still be updated in the future, as I said I love the quests and areas.

Thank you, yes I will still probably log in and bug fix now and then.  I just wanted to make it available to others, maybe someone will make a version of it that people love.  Sometimes it just takes a new guy or gal running a game.  I hate to see over 10 years of work just got to away.

I added beastmaster sounds.

I also fleshed out the beastmaster class quite nicely and updated the codebase 6dragons 4.2.  http://www.smaugmuds.org/files/6Dragons-42-487/

As far as how do you make a admin?  Just make a new character.  Then quit at level 2.  Go on server in the directory player and whatever letter your player name is under and edit your player file to level 108.

Hi there. So I'm new to the game and started playing today. I find it interesting. I do have 2 questions.
How do I talk to teachers and get quests? Also I want to learn how to set a waypoint how do I go about doing this.

Hello all,
@SkyLord, you can not run this game on windows, sadly it is only meant to run on a linux system. I have a copy of the game the latest one on my server however if you all want to check it out general-hosting.org 4100 so come on in and lets have fun who knows, I might add in some new areas and mobs for all of us to play with and @Vladaar, I wanted to let you know I have been able to compile the game with know problems, on CentOS 7 and it runs very well you just have to remember to run under nohup otherwise once you close your ssh connection, by goes the game. But all in all I love it so far and I hope you can come and maybe help out and also give me some ideas on what you think would be good to add as far as mobs and areas. I am kind of new with smaug creation, but I can learn it with out a problem. Hope to see you on the game soon general-hosting.org 4100.
